Leaders often find themselves angry, anxious, shut down, and demotivated. These challenges create undue stress for leaders and employees and create a shame and blame culture, leading to burnout and decreased profitability.
This highly interactive experience empowers you to show up with more authenticity, empathy, and impact. Through teaching, discussion, activities, and role-playing, you will practice and develop your leadership presence.
Self-Awareness:
Great leaders know themselves because you can’t take people further than you have been yourself. You will gain greater awareness of your story and emotions to be a leader who intentionally responds to adversity instead of reacting. You will learn the neuroscience to understand emotions and their impact on your life and relationships.
Self-Management:
Leadership will test even the most patient leader, and your ability to regulate emotions and responses is one of the greatest skills to develop. You will learn embodiment practices to help you stay regulated in stressful situations and understand the science behind difficult emotions such as anger, anxiety, and fear.
Social Awareness:
Inspiring others requires balancing high expectations and accountability with empathy and encouragement. Increase your ability to read others’ emotions, show empathy, and create a culture where people thrive.
Relationship Management:
Develop confidence in your ability to influence and inspire others through speaking skills and interpersonal connections. Learn how to address conflict to create stronger relationships and connections.

This is not your typical classroom experience. Emotional intelligence isn’t cultivated through lectures or PowerPoint slides, but through active engagement and meaningful interaction. Here, you’ll find a fun, safe, and highly interactive environment designed to help you practice and strengthen your connection skills.

The Facilitator
Benefit from the unique approach of Daniel Hood, who, in his 20 years of experience leading groups, creates a holistic and relational leadership experience. He holds a certification and is completing a master’s degree in Restorative Practices, a social science focused on building connections and restoring relationships within organizations. He holds two certificates in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through the Allender Center.
